Judo Federation of Iceland will have the Reykjavik Judo Open for the eleventh time on the 28th of January 2023.
The tournament is for seniors, men and women and is a part of Reykjavik International Games, (RIG) a multi- sport event. In recent years, there have been competitors from CZE, ESP, FRA, GER ,GBR, POL, RUS, SVK, UKR, and of course from the Nordic Countries. Many world class competitors have competed at Reykjavik Judo Open through the years like Jeroen Casse (BEL) Marcus Nyman and Robin Pacek (SWE) and David Klammert and Jakub Jecminek (CZE) and Tagir Khaibulaev (RUS) just to mention a few.

What makes this year's event even more special, is the fact that it marks the 50th year anniversary of the Icelandic Judo Federation.
